Capulet Fashion Fridays, Heat 1 – Supporting Brisbane’s Emerging Designers

QUT fashion students

The ivy covered walls of the outdoor area at Capulet bar held the first of 4 heats in their Fashion Fridays competition. This event showcases Brisbane’s talented emerging designers, gets audiences involved in voting and promotes Brisbane’s burgeoning fashion scene. Five designers or boutiques presented several pieces from their collection’s.

There was this amazing skirt (pictured above and below) from QUT fashion students which had a tent like silhouette and bunting! Beautiful vintage inspired pieces by Fabled and True, silk dresses that flowed down the runway from Anna Hulm and pieces from boutiques Pretty Please and Natalie Wear.

After each event, audiences can vote via the Fashion Fridays Facebook page. There will be one event per month until the finale in November.
